The first African UNESCO Laureate, Prof. Sir Bashiru Aremu, has received the Global Golden Award Certificate and Global Golden Medal from the American Congress of Liberty in Ecuador as World Records Holder Commends Group’s leadership, dedicates double awards to God, says global recognition, a mark of peace, progress, solidarity and cultural development.
Royal Paradise Media ( News Online) learnt this from the World Grand President of International Chartered World Learned Society (ICWLS), Prof Sir Bashiru Aremu in a telephone conversation with our reporter today being on Wednesday, April 22, 2026 as he appreciated the double global awards from American Congress of Liberty in Ecuador.
Speaking to our reporter, Prof Sir Bashiru Aremu stated: “The American Congress for Liberty brings together the national academies of the American continent which conferred the honor on me. This symbolizes peace, solidarity, progress, and culture for the peoples and countries of the planet. This is a mark of global recognition and intellectual trajectory with a benchmark that shows one’s exceptional qualities and that of undertaken or considerable actions worthy of recognition by this hemispheric organization”.
“With this laudable feats, the congress had issued a mandatory agreement in my honor and conferred upon him the Medal of Honor. The medal is awarded to intellectuals of renowned stature for their achievements and benevolent endeavors in support of the noblest causes of humanity. The award was given in the City of Quito, Capital of the Republic of Ecuador, at the historic Casa Alhambra, headquarters of the intercontinental scientific corporation, on Monday, April 20, 2026”.
“The document was signed by Ac. Ingrid Díaz Patiño, Secretary-Coordinator, and Prof. Dr. Franklin Barriga López, Perpetual President of the American Congress of Liberty. Prof. Aremu is the First African UNESCO Laureate and a World Records Holder. He holds a PhD in Computer Science and quadruple post-doctoral degrees”.
“Prof Sir Bashiru Aremu serves as World Grand President of the International Chartered World Learned Society Inc., USA, and Africa Head of the Unity of Nations Action for Climate Change Council, an official partner of the United Nations”.
“Prof Sir Bashiru Aremu is Chairman and Member of the Accreditation Panel of some Nigerian universities, appointed by the National Universities Commission in Abuja, Nigeria. He is also Africa Chairman of the Cybercop Global Council Africa Region, a subsidiary of the Unity of Nations Action for Climate Change Council.
“Prof Sir Bashiru Aremu’s previous awards included amongst others are; The Global Golden Medal and Certificate from UNESCO, the title of World Acclaimed Distinguished Professor Emeritus conferred by UNESCO, ICWLS, and the University of Nigeria Nsukka, and the Prestigious Research Professor Award 2024 from IPHREC. Prof Sir Bashiru Aremu is a trailblazer in education, technology, and sustainable development”.

“The second sessions were held with the participation of 26 speakers from 14 countries. The first academic sessions took place in Quito, Ecuador, in May 2022. The congress is not affiliated with the United States Congress, which is a legislative body”.
