The World Grand Chairman of the World Accreditation Commission, Prof. Sir Bashiru Aremu, has commended the Government of the United States of America for granting the World Accreditation Commission, WAC global chartered status to operate as a chartered body Worldwide as global quality Assurance Agency in Higher Education.
Royal Paradise Media (News Online) learnt this from the World Records Holder, Prof. Sir Bashiru Aremu in a telephone conversation with our reporter today being on Wednesday, April 22, 2026 as he stated that the new status authorizes the commission to grant accreditation and license status to pre-higher institutions, higher institutions, and other organizations globally as a legitimate quality assurance agency.
Speaking further to our reporter, UNESCO Laureate briefed media on the benefits of the designation and the legal basis for the commission’s operations. Prof. Sir Bashiru Aremu is a renowned professor of Computer Science, Information Communication and Technology.
In the words of the first African UNESCO Laureate, Prof Sir Bashiru Aremu: “This new feat as achieved by WAC is quite commendable. WAC as a global accreditation institution was granted the status with chartered file number 5378647. The filing was made at the Office of the Secretary of State in the City of Dover, State of Delaware, USA. The legal documents were received from Jeffrey W. Bullock, Secretary of State of Delaware”.
“World Accreditation Commission now has international, global chartered status to operate as an internationally chartered autonomous global quality assurance agency in all countries of the world”.
“Oxford dictionary defines chartered as a written grant by the sovereign or legislative power of a country by which a body is founded or its rights and privileges are established”.
