As I formally join the race for the APGA Primary election for the Chairmanship seat of our beloved Idemili North Local Government, I appeal to you to stand with me as we work towards victory. WHO IS HON. OKECHUKWU OBI IN IDEMILI NORTH?
Hon. Okechukwu Obi is not only the CEO of Royal Paradise Hotel, Obosi, he had distinguished himself, worked in both private & Public Sectors. He had worked as a Chartered Accountant, Manager, SSA to Former Governor of Anambra State, as Supervisor at the grassroots level, Idemili North LGA. Hon. Okechukwu Obi is a Chartered Accountant and a Fellow of Many Accounting Bodies in Nigeria and Globally. Hon. Okechukwu Obi is a graduate of Accountancy from YABATECH, Lagos & Tansian University, Umunya, Anambra State where he bagged his B.Sc and M.Sc. At present he is Ph.D Research Candidate in Department of Accounting with Specialization in Forensic Accounting) at Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Anambra State. Hon. Okechukwu Obi is a Chartered Tax Practitioner, He is a Chartered Forensic Accountant/Auditor Okechukwu Obi is a Chartered Certified Fraud/Crime Investigator. He is a Man of the people, grassroots mobilizer, a generous politician, Youth-friendly, an astute Political leader loved by all- Children, Youths, Women and the elderly and Political Actors in entire Idemili North LGA of Anambra State.
Hon Okechukwu Obi (Ochili Ozua 1 of Obosi Kingdom). Hon Okechukwu Obi (a.k.a SOLUDO, MR GOVERNOR MAN) has served as the Senior Special Assistant to Former Governor of Anambra State, Willie Obiano on Community Development Matters. He had also served in the current Local Government administration in Idemili North as the Supervisory Councillor for Markets & Parks, his positions which he had used to empower lives in Idemili North and Anambra State in General.
Hon Obi Okechukwu is a prominent figure in Anambra State politics, who had served in different capacity as a pro-Soludo group leader and Public Servant in Idemili North and Anambra State. He had served as National Board of Trustees Chairman, Soludo Solution Movement (SSM) *with political structures in Anambra 21 LGAs & Chairman of All Soludo Support Groups in Idemili North LGA was *one of those who championed, Sponsored the electoral victory of APGA at all levels, Prof Charles Chukwuma Soludo’ as Governor of Anambra State from 2018-2021*.
Hon. Obi Okechukwu is known for his humility, accessible, democratic and inclusive leadership style, a listener, a Hallmark of respect for elders, support for Less-privilege citizens, humanitarian services, developmental and community driven initiatives He is currently serving as the Convener/National Coordinator of Soludo Super Fans (SSF) & Chairman of All Soludo Support Groups -Soludo Solution in Idemili North LGA of Anambra State.
His is the Convener/National Co-ordinator of one of the most formidable pro-Soludo groups in Anambra State & Most formidable pro-Soludo group in Idemili North LGA- “SOLUDO SUPER FANS” (SSF). SSF as a formidable Pro-Soludo group has a large citizens membership drive, political structures in all political wards, polling units and Anambra 21 LGAs. SSF is a socio-political pressure group that backed Governor Charles Soludo’s re-election bid in 2025. Hon Okechukwu Obi Okechukwu mobilized, sponsored the group in Anambra State to ensure Soludo’s Victory. He is also a loyal APGA chieftain in Idemili North LGA, Anambra State, with significant contributions to the party’s growth and Soludo’s agenda success.
