******World Records Holder, Aremu Commends NUC, APU VC On Successful Accreditation Process

Word Records Holder and the First African UNESCO Laureate, Prof Sir Bashiru Aremu, has commended the management of National Universities Commission (NUC), Abuja, the Vice-Chacellor, Ahman Pategi University (APU), a private university located in Patigi, Kwara State, Nigeria on successful accreditation process for its Faculty of Science and Computing and other faculties.
Royal Paradise Media (News Online) learnt this from Prof Sir Bashiru Aremu, the Pioneer Dean, Faculty of Science and Computing, Minaret University, Ikirun, Nigeria in a telephone conversation with our reporter today being Wednesday, January 14, 2026 as he lauded the recent succesful accreditation process carried out by NUC at Faculty of Science and Computing of Ahman Pategi University, Patigi, Kwara State, Nigeria.
Speaking to our reporter, Aremu appreciated the roles played by NUC in promoting quality assurance in higher education, and APU VC for the good atmosphere provided by the University Management during the exercise that led the success of the accreditation process. Prof Sir Bashiru Aremu briefed our reporter on outcome of the event as conducted on December 3rd to 5th, 2025 by a panel of experts appointed by the National Universities Commission (NUC) Abuja, Nigeria, which the first African UNESCO Laureate was one of panelists.
In the words of Prof Sir Bashiru Aremu: “As one of NUC panelists, Officials, I, Prof. Sir Bashiru Aremu, the First African UNESCO Laureate and World Records Holder, I use this medium to commend the leadership of NUC for the opportunity given to me and roles played by the Commission in promoting quality assurance in higher education system in Nigeria. Most importantly, I, the Pioneer Dean of the Faculty of Science and Computing at Minaret University, Ikirun, Nigeria must sincerely commend the APU VC and the management for their efforts, co-operation to had provided a good atmosphere during the period towards the success of the accreditation process”.
” I, the first African UNESCO Laureate, also commend the Vice- Chancellor of Ahman Pategi University, Prof. Sani Ali Audu, and other management members for their leadership and commitment to academic excellence”.
Prof. Sani Ali Audu is a renowned Professor, World educator, seasoned Researcher and innovator. He was appointed the Acting Vice-Chancellor of Ahman Pategi University in September 2025, and has been leading the university with a vision to promote academic excellence and innovation”.
“Under his leadership, the university has continued to strive for excellence in teaching, research, and community service. Ahman Pategi University, established in 2021, is one of the 20 new private universities approved by the Federal Executive Council of Nigeria. He has also held various leadership roles globally, including Chairman and Member of Accreditation Panel of Universities in Nigeria, Chairman of World Accreditation Commission USA, and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Unity of Nations Action for Climate Change Council (UNACCC).
