The First African UNESCO Laureate and World Records Holder, Prof Sir Bashiru Aremu, has extended his warmest congratulations to Prof. Abiodun Musa Aibinu, the Vice Chancellor of Summit University, Offa, on his birthday and achievements.

He described Prof Abiodun Musa Aibinu as a World-class Educator, Engineer, Researcher, Innovator and administrator.

“Prof. Aibinu has published over 200 papers in local and international journals and conferences, with research interests in Digital signal and Image processing, Information and Communication Technology, Robotics, Process Automation, and Intelligent system development. He has also received several research grants, including those from the Nigerian Communications Commission and the Royal Academy of Engineering”.
“Prof. Aibinu has held several leadership positions, including Head of the Department of Mechatronics Engineering and Director of the Center for Open Distance and e-Learning at the Federal University of Technology, Minna. The World Records Holder, Prof. Sir Bashiru Aremu is a distinguished academic and professor of computer science and information technology.
