The Leadership of Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC), Delta State chapter led by Prince Henry Eze (JP), urged Delta Citizens to Key into this ongoing INEC Continuous Voters’ Registration (CVR) exercise, as the group commences sensitization campaign in Delta South Senatorial District of the State.
Daily Independent learnt this today being on Sunday , November 2, 2025 from Delta IPAC Boss as he briefed Journalists in Warri, Delta State on the outcome of the intensive campaign sensitization as flagged off in Delta South Senatorial District of Delta State.
Speaking to Journalists, Delta IPAC Chairman, Prince Henry Eze (JP) stated: “Delta IPAC Leadership, Members are indeed happy for the successful outing we had during our recent INEC Continuous Voters’ Registration CVR exercise held at various strategic positions in Communities, Wards, LGAs in Delta South Senatorial District of Delta State”.
“These strategic places in the Communities, Wards, LGAs of Delta South Senatorial District included amongst others are: Effurun Roundabout Uvwie LGA, Ekpan Junction by Chevron Uvwie LGA, Igbo Market, Warri South LGA, Main Market, Warri South LGA, Hausa Quarters Igbudu Market, Warri South LGA, Deaco/Robinson Plaza Warri South LGA, Avenue to Bendel Estate Warri South , Bendel Estate to Polokor Market Warri South. Polokor Mkt to Airport Junction Uvwie LGA, Airport Junction to Effurun Market Uvwie LGA, Effurun Market to Alegbo Pry Sch. Uvwie LGA”.
“The IPAC team were made up of Chairmen of all the Registered Political Parties in Delta State and various party members. We started the campaign with a call on residents of the oil city to avail themselves the opportunity of the exercise to get their Permanent Voter Cards (PVC)”.
“We took time to Address the people during a road show. The sensitization was part of the Council’s mandate to educate the electorate on the need to participate actively in the electoral processes. The PVC is key to the success of the electoral system. That is, without it one would not be able to vote for the candidate of his or her choice, and by implication failing in a significant civic responsibilities”.
“Our message, as we move from street to street and from market to market, is that Delta, particularly Delta South Citizens should go and get their PVC. Warri is a strategic town in Delta State and the residents cannot afford to be left behind in the choice of good leaders in the 2027 election. Don’t wait till the rush hour, the time to get your PVC is now. Your vote is your power, your PVC is your power. The sensitization had just begun, we are committed towards ensuring that we keep this pace till July next year; with every week dedicated to a specific community across the three senatorial districts of Delta State”
Speaking further to Journalists, a former State Chairman of IPAC and Chairman of Accord Party, Deacon Fred Obi; the immediate past Chairman, Mr Emeka Bidokwu; who is also the State Chairman of Action Alliance (AA), and Dr. Mike Egbo, of the Action Democratic Party (ADC) used medium to commend the IPAC National and the State Council Leaderships for the initiatives.
In their words: “The sensitization programme was to educate Deltans on the power of their Votes and to encourage those who had attained the age of 18, or that had lost their PVCs or relocated to new places to register or update their cards to be able to vote for candidates of their choice come 2027. We urge them to get their PVC Now! Your Vote is Your Power. We also distributed flyers to residents in the markets and on the streets”.
“For clarity sake, Areas covered included Igbo market, Main market, Hausa Quarters Igbudu market, Deaco/Robinson Plaza, Avenue to Bendel Estate, Bendel Estate to Polokor market, all in Warri South Local Government Area. And other strategic places in Delta South Senatorial District as sensitized during the campaign included: Effurun roundabout, Ekpan Junction by Chevron, Polokor market to Airport Junction, Airport Junction to Effurun market, Effurun market to Alegbo Primary School, in Uvwie Local Government Area”.
