Engr Austine .C. Okolie, Delta State Chairman, African Democratic Congress (ADC), has urged Nigerian Citizens to maintain resilience, strength and unity in the midst of daunting challenges to uphold democracy and promote progress and National development.
Royal Paradise Media (News Online) learnt this today being Wednesday, October 1, 2025 as Delta ADC Chairman, Engr Austine Okolie in a statement made available to Journalists in Asaba, Delta State capital as party celebrates, marks Nigeria’s 65th Independence Day Celebration in Grand-style.
The statement by Delta ADC State Chairman reads in part: “Delta ADC under the leadership of Engr. Austine C. Okolie, celebrates with all Nigerians on this historic day. At 65, our nation has shown resilience, strength, and unity”.
“But the promise of independence remains largely unfulfilled. Our people still face economic hardship, insecurity, unemployment, and poor infrastructure”.
“We call on Mr. President to place the welfare of citizens at the center of governance with policies that create jobs, reduce poverty, and restore hope”.
“In addition, we urge the government to sign and fully implement genuine electoral reforms, so that the common man will have renewed faith in the electoral system”.
“Free, fair and credible elections are the foundation of true democracy, and only through this can Nigeria achieve the progress we all desire”.
“Nigeria has the resources to thrive; what we need now is sincerity, visionary leadership, and the courage to do what is right”.
