SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT
ADC DELTA STATE CONGRESS NOTICE
The African Democratic Congress (ADC), Delta State Chapter, hereby announces to the general public and all party members that following the recent judgment of the Federal High Court which nullified the illegal party congresses conducted by unrecognized and self-appointed committees, and affirmed the State Executive Committee as the only constitutionally recognized body to conduct congresses at the state level, the party is now set to proceed accordingly.
Under the leadership of Engr. Austine C. Okolie, the ADC Delta State hereby notifies party members, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), and relevant security agencies that the party will conduct its congresses, which were previously suspended due to a court injunction.
The Non-Elective Congresses have been scheduled as follows:
Ward and Local Government Congresses:
Date: Thursday, 7th May 2026
Venue: Designated party offices across all Local Government Areas in Delta State
State Congress:
Date: Friday, 8th May 2026
Venue: State Party Secretariat 01, along Midwifery Market Road, opposite Larema Hotel, Asaba, Delta State
All party members are urged to remain peaceful, law-abiding, and actively participate in the exercise in line with the party constitution and democratic principles.
