The African Democratic Congress(ADC), Delta State Chapter on Thursday, 8th May 2026, successfully concluded its Non-Elective Congress with the inauguration of a new State Executive

Royal Paradise Media (News Online) learnt this during the exercise on Thursday, May 8, 2026 at the Delta ADC party Secretariat in Asaba, Delta State Capital that marked the final phase of a three-tier congress process that also covered ward and local government levels across the state.

The congresses, which commenced on Thursday, 7th May 2026, held simultaneously at designated party offices in all this 25 Local Government Areas of Delta State.

Speaking to our reporter by the newly elected Delta ADC State Chairman, Engr Austine .C. Okolie, he stated: “Delegates and party faithfuls participated in the selection of ward and local government executives in line with the party constitution and directives of the recognized State Executive Committee”.

“At the state level, the congress took place at the State Party Secretariat 01 along Midwifery Market Road, opposite Larema Hotel, Asaba. The gathering brought together key stakeholders, party officials, and members from the three senatorial districts of Delta State to ratify the new leadership structure”.

Engr. Austine C. Okolie who emerged as the newly elected State Chairman. In his acceptance speech, he reaffirmed the ADC’s position as a dominant political force in Delta State capable of unseating the ruling party.

Speaking further to the media soon after his emergence as Delta ADC Boss, Okolie stressed that unity, dedication, grassroots mobilization, and strategic leadership would drive the party’s agenda ahead of future engagements and most importantly the forthcoming 2027 general elections in Delta State and Nigeria in general.

Other Delta ADC Executives who emerged winner in different Party position s during the Congress inaugurated alongside the chairman included amongst others are: Mr. Napoleon Ebi as State Secretary and Bishop Obiajulu Obi Obiajulu as Publicity Secretary.

Delta ADC Vice chairmen who emerged during the Congress for the three Senatorial districts of the State are: Hon. Jerry Ojale for Delta North, Hon. OTUTU Elias for Delta South, and Rev. Omogor Emmanuel for Delta Central.

In a Separate interview with some of the party stakeholders, the newly elected Delta ADC Publicity Secretary, Bishop Obi Obiajulu, Delta ADC State Secretary, Mr Napoleon Ebi, and Delta ADC Vice Chairmen from the three Senatorial Districts, members of Executives and other critical stakeholders of the party, had described the peaceful conduct of the congresses as a demonstration of internal discipline and commitment to democratic principles.

The stakeholders, members of the newly elected Executives of Delta ADC noted that, the exercise had repositioned the party for stronger grassroots penetration and broader political relevance across Delta State.

Restating the party’s commitment to victory come 2027 general elections in Delta State and Nigeria in general by its candidates, the newly elected State Chairman of African Democratic Congress (ADC), Engr Austine C. . Okolie stated; “With this new Executives
in place, ADC Delta State will intensify mobilization efforts at the ward and local government levels. I use this medium to commend party leaders, members of our great party, the leadership of Independence National Electoral Commission, INEC Delta State, all Security Agencies-al electoral and critical stakeholders for making this state Congress a success”.

“I hereby urge members to remain united and focused on building a formidable structure capable of delivering electoral success in subsequent polls , most importantly the forthcoming 2027 general elections in Delta State, and Nigeria in general”, the newly elected Delta ADC Chairman, Engr Okolie concluded.
