The First African UNESCO Laureate & World Records Holder, Prof Sir Bashiru Aremu, has commended the recent partnership agreement or Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the leadership of American Congress of Liberty has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the World Accreditation Commission to strengthen cooperation on quality assurance in higher education as he stated that the global collaboration would focus on promoting joint academic programs and institutional evaluation and others
Royal Paradise Media (News Online) learnt this from The first African UNESCO Laureate World Records Holder, Prof Sir Bashiru Aremu in a telephone conversation with our reporter today being on Friday, May 15, 2026 as the Global Chairman of African Information Technology Consultancy Firm hails the partnership agreement between the two global bodies aims at fostering knowledge exchange, global standards accreditation.
Speaking to our reporter by the Global Chairman, Africa Information Technology Consultancy, His Excellency Prof. Sir Bashiru Aremu, he stated that the partnership aims to enhance collaboration between the two organizations on initiatives related to internal and external quality assurance across the global higher education sector.
In the words of the UNESCO Laureate & World Records Holder, Prof Sir Bashiru Aremu: “The partnership agreement between WAC & ACL would focus on information exchange, joint academic programs, and the promotion of standards in accreditation and institutional evaluation”.
“The World Accreditation Commission(WAC), based in the United States, is registered in Delaware under file number 5378647 and record ID 455176. It operates to collect and disseminate information on the theory and practice of quality assurance in higher education and maintains partnership agreements with international bodies in the field”.
“The American Congress of Liberty is an academic platform that convenes experts and researchers from Latin American countries to examine independence processes in the Americas and promote constructive dialogue. The organization held its second sessions in Quito, Ecuador, in May 2022, with 26 speakers representing 14 countries”.
“Under the MoU, the two bodies had agreed to work together to align academic activities with international quality assurance practices. The collaboration is expected to support capacity building, peer review processes, and knowledge sharing among higher education institutions.
“I, Prof. Sir Bashiru Aremu hereby commend the development. The partnerships of this nature contribute to the advancement of credible and transparent standards in higher education. And I must add that the agreement reflects a growing emphasis on cross-regional cooperation in academic quality assurance”.
“Both global organizations had agreed on joint programs, implementation timelines. And other areas of collaboration would be communicated in subsequent announcements”, Aremu concluded.
