********UNESCO Laureate Commends Mewar University on E-commerce Conference

Prof. Sir Bashiru Aremu, The first African UNESCO Laureate, has commended the Management of Mewar University Abuja, Nigeria, for hosting a successful international conference on E-commerce in the modern world of Information Communication Technology (ICT).
Royal Paradise Media (News Online l) learnt this from the Vice-Chancellor, Crown University Int’l, USA in a Telephone Chat, conversation with our reporter today being Sunday, October 5, 2025 as he stated that the conference, which brought together experts and scholars from around the world, provided a platform for sharing insights and knowledge on the role of E-commerce in modern ICT.
According to Prof Aremu, “the conference highlighted the need for global partnerships and collaborations in promoting E-commerce and ICT development. Prof. Aremu emphasized the importance of stakeholders working together to harness the potential of ICT for sustainable development”.
He commended the management of Mewar University Abuja Nigeria. for their support in hosting the international event.
UNESCO Laureate also commended the roles played by the conference keynote speakers from around the world, which included amongst others are: Mr. Cem Perder, Head of Africa Department, Pakmaya Pak Holdings, Istanbul, Turkey, and Dr. Abass Owolabi, Managing Director/CEO, Hansworth W. A. Insurance Broker Ltd, Abuja, Nigeria. Other notable speakers included Prof. Arumugu Perumal, Director of Global Partnerships with Crown University International, and Prof. Shaji George, a member of the Board of Trustees from Saudi Arabia.
Aremu used medium to appreciate the roles played by Prof. Muhammad Tanko, the Vice Chancellor of Mewar University Abuja Nigeria, whom he said had expressed the university’s commitment to promoting research and excellence in all fields of academic endeavors.

As the First African UNESCO Laureate, Prof Sir Bashiru Aremu had garnered international experience coupled with his outstanding achievements in education, creativity, and intellectual innovation. He holds several high-profile academic and leadership roles, including Vice Chancellor of Crown University International Chartered Inc. in the USA and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Kings & Queens Medical University College Ghana.
