Ahead of 2023 Presidential election in Nigeria, a group under the aegies of “Coalition Of Atiku Support Groups Initiative” (CASGI), has today inaugurated the Delta State Executives of the group as the first of its kind in Nigeria.
The media learnt this today from CASGI (DG) National Coordinator, Comrade Obinna Okorie, CASGI National Secretary, Comrade Issa Usman at Lambertian Hotels and suites, Asaba, Delta State During the inauguration of the State Executives of the group in the state capital stated that the group is the first of its kind in Nigeria.
CASGI Director -General, Comrade Obinna stated that Delta CASGI is exemplary that since her two months old birth, formation as a new group in the state had propagated and will continue to propagate the Political ideologies of the former Nigeria’s Vice President and 2019 PDP Presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar as he is set to re-contest the 2023 Nigeria’s Presidential election.
CASGI DG in his speech in that occasion before the inauguration of the group in Delta State said: “Fellow Comrades, it is a pleasure and honor to welcome you here today for the Inauguration Delta State Chapter of the Coalition of Atiku Support Groups Initiative”.
“This auspicious occasion is a testament which symbolizes that the members of CASGI group believes and align with His Excellency, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, GCON political ideology and his capacity to lead”.
“Unfortunately, in today’s Nigeria we have witness the high level of insecurity, unemployment, youth restiveness, acute borrowing with unproductivity which have endangered our great nation. We urge the People’s Democratic Party, PDP to give his Excellency, Atiku Abubakar GCON the presidential ticket come 2023”.
“Atiku is most placed to lead PDP back to power considering his last performance, his demostrability in wealth creation and economy building. He has shown himself a pan-nigeria who comprehend the in-depth heterogeneity of a multi-religious, multi-cultural society line Nigeria”.
“Atiku has the dominant Political configurations across the region’s and parties lines. However, our mission and work is purely guided by our Principal, His Excellency, Atiku Abubakar vision of a better indisputable one Nigeria, just and safe nation where possibilities are not limited by gender, religion, disability, or affiliation”.

In acceptance speech by the CASGI Delta State Coordinator, Hon Jeff Ezeagwu while responding in his speech to the kind gesture as he assumed leadership of the group thanked CASGI group’s National leadership, entire Delta State Executives, the media, participants and all those who contributed to the success of the Inauguration, he termed occasion as ‘Mother of all Inauguration’ he then stated that the inauguration is a combination of both State Executives and Local Government Inauguration.
In his words: “In this Executive we have other 17 different deregistered, Political parties, Student bodies, market Women in Delta State working with us in this group. We have Yoruba/ Hausa leaders in our Executive. This shows that our labours, steadfastness is not in vain as now endorsed by the National Executive”.
” Permit me Sir, to say that the work and c challenges ahead of us are enormous, but after our decoration, or inauguration as State CASGI Executive in Delta, we will take the bull by the horn to deliver Delta State to our Principal, H.E, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar to the glory of God.
