Prof. Mahfouz A. Adedimeji, the Vice Chancellor of Africa School of Economics, Abuja, has been honored as a Chartered Fellow of the Africa Information Technology Consultancy.

Royal Paradise Media (News Online) learnt this from the First African UNESCO Laureate yesterday being on Tuesday, September 2, 2025 as Prof Aremu commended Prof Mahfouz Adedimeji’s roles in promoting global Economics Education.

According to the VC, Crown University Int’l USA, “This prestigious recognition accorded to Prof Mahfouz Adedimeji’ is a testament to his outstanding contributions in the field of Economics and promotion of global higher education”.

The ceremony took place at Prof. Adedimeji’s office in Abuja, where Prof. Sir Bashiru Aremu, the International Chairman of Africa Information Technology Consultancy, presented him with a Global Golden Award Chartered Fellowship Certificate. Prof. Aremu, a First African UNESCO Laureate, praised Prof. Adedimeji’s philosophy as a Professor of Pragmatics and Linguistics, highlighting his efforts in utilizing ICT to advance higher education.

Africa Information Technology Consultancy is a renowned organization that provides a wide range of services, including IT strategy development, digital transformation, cybersecurity, cloud computing, data analytics, and software development. With its registration with the Federal Government of Nigeria, it is the first indigenous Information Technology Consultancy Institute in Nigeria and the African sub-region.

Prof Aremu then praised the VC of African School of Economics, Abuja.
