Chief Dr. Ogheneovo Edewor, the esteemed Founder of the Chief Dr. Ogheneovo Edewor Foundation, has been awarded an Honorary Doctorate in Humanitarian & Community Support Services by US Varsity, NextGen University International, USA as he lauded the higher institution’s Leadership, Global Founder/Chancellor, Prof Dr Shaik Muhammad Rafi on global awards, recognition.
Royal Paradise News learnt this from Chief Dr Ogheneovo Edewor a renowned Nigerian Philanthropist, an erudite business administrator & Legal guru today being on Saturday, September 6, 2024 in a letter of appreciation to the Global Founder/Chancellor of NextGen Int’l University, Prof Dr Shaik Muhammad Rafi made available to some group of Journalists in Asaba, Delta State capital as he thanked the University leadership, Indian born Medical Practitioner, Legal ICON world educator and IT professional for honoring him on global scale.
The letter & Certificate of global recognition, awards of Honorary Doctorate Degree in the field of “Humanitarian & Community Support Services” to Chief Dr Ogheneovo Edewor by NextGen Int’l University, USA reads in parts: “This recognition celebrates your unwavering commitment to humanitarian and community support services, which have significantly impacted countless lives in Delta State, Nigeria, Africa and globally”.
Dr. Edewor in the release has restated commitment to selfless service to humanity, promises commitment towards contributing more to global humanitarian efforts, inspire future generations of leaders dedicated to making a difference in the world. He then urged the Global Founder/Chancellor of NextGen University International, USA to remain committed to the University’s mission of advancing education and supporting individuals who exemplify the values of compassion, leadership, and service to humanity.

Chief Dr. Oghenovo Edewor is the Chairman/Founder of Chief Dr Ogheneovo Edewor Foundation. Chief Dr. Ogheneovo Edewor was born in Warri Present Day Delta State-Nigeria to the family of Chief Dr James Ogboko Edewor from the Urhobo Community of Eku in Ethiope East Local Government Council of Delta State, Nigeria; his mother Chief Mrs Betty Edewor is also from the same Eku Community”.
“Chief Ovo as a young man was an Entrepreneur as he started rearing Chicken and other animals to sell to neighbors and later save up money to start a Computer gaming centre before the age of 14 years old. Close to his 15th birthday, young Ovo saw an opportunity his mother would always talk about till her last days, a man relocating abroad put up his Peugeot 505 for sale, and young Ovo approached him and made him an offer he couldn’t refuse that made him drive home at 14 years of age with a car”.
“Chief Ovo Edewor attended DSC Primary & Secondary School at Orhunwhorun Alaja. He later went to Elmere College-England for a short while before he returned to Nigeria to attend a Diploma in Law Course at the University of Benin. He later continued his Education at the University of Buckingham where he bagged a Bachelors Degree in Politics & English Language and later LLB in Law from the University of Hertfordshire, followed by an MBA. He was active in University politics as he emerged the President of Nigerian Students Association & Treasurer at the University of Buckingham”.
