DAKAR, SENEGAL — The Continental Chairman of Nigerians in Diaspora Organisation (NIDO) Africa, Professor Jude Osakwe, has formally commended all stakeholders who contributed to the successful hosting of the first-ever NIDO Africa-organised investment exhibition. The epoch-making event, which concluded on February 27, 2026, in Dakar, Senegal, has been widely celebrated as a landmark milestone in the history of the Nigerian diaspora across Africa.

Prof. Osakwe extended heartfelt appreciation to every individual and organisation whose dedication, resources, and goodwill made the event a resounding success. He particularly commended the Chapter President of NIDO Senegal, Chief Michael Ogugua, for his selfless effort and exceptional leadership in putting together the historic exhibition.

The Continental Chairman described Chief Ogugua’s commitment as an inspiring embodiment of the spirit of service, noting that his vision and drive were central to the event’s remarkable success.
