Local Government Administration is the administration of Communities, towns, Villages, Counties and Districts through an elected representative elected by the residents who is charged with the responsibilities of local policy formulation and implementation, social care, provision of services to communities; schools, housing services, waste management and Local roads construction and maintenance; Street naming, Registration of Births, Deaths, licensing and registration of businesses and other services to improve the living standards of those at the grassroots level.
As a seasoned grassroots politician with decades of community services, multifaceted leadership skills in both public and private sectors; born and brought up in Obosi, Idemili North Local Government Area of Anambra State, I know what our people need at the grassroots level to maintain a better standard of living.
Categorically, if given the mandate by the Delegates, stakeholders, party leaders of our great party, I mean APGA party ticket comes today February 10, 2026 to emerge APGA Chairmanship Candidate to win the general election in Idemili North LGA, I will work to promote the living standards of my people. I will work to promote grassroots development, massive political participation in the ten (10) Communities that make up the Local Government in line with Prof Chukwuma Soludo’s, Anambra State Governor’s Solution Agenda of maintaining a prosperous and liveable Anambra State.
MY ADMNISTRATION’s TWENTY POINTS AGENDA:
- Grassroots, Sustainable & Meaningful Development: I will work towards promoting
viable grassroots, sustainable and meaningful development in the local Government. - Youths, Women & Vulnerable Citizens Development, Empowerment & Employment
Opportunities: - I will promote and invest in Youths, women; children, elderly and vulnerable citizens of
Idemili North Local Government Area - Quality Education, Primary Healthcare Development: Primary Healthcare Development in Idemili North LGA. I work to ensure quality Education,
- Alleviate poverty, Establish ICT, Entrepreneurship & Vocational Centres: I will work to Alleviate Poverty, end hunger and promote entrepreneurship amongst our Youths & Women by establishing ICT, Entrepreneurship & Vocational Centres. Also develop schemes that will improve the living standards of our people at the grassroots or Local Government.
- Equal Opportunities for All: I will work to ensure that every citizens of Idemili North LGA
gets equal opportunities. I will ensure that equity, fairness & justice prevails amongst all in citizens and stakeholders of the LGA. - Replicate Soludo’s, Mr. Govetnor’s Agenda at The Grassroots: I will work to replicate The Mr. Governor’s Solution Agenda at The Grassroots.
- Infrastructural Development: I work towards improving the Local Infrastructures such physical structures, construction and maintenance of roads, drainages, and other organizational structure.
- Environmental Sanitation & Waste Management: I will work towards promoting sustainable and clean environment waste management in the ten communities that make up Idemili North LGA of Anambra State.
- Increase in Local IGR: I will work towards ensuring improved Local Internally-Generated Revenue (IGR) through and increase in the Local IGR through investment opportunities; bringing both local and foreign investors, improving our local economy.
- Capacity Building & Global Partnership. I will work towards building the capacity of our
Staff in Idemili North LGA, our Youths, Women and children to excel. Also, collaborate with
critical Stakeholders, State and Federal Agencies. - Promote Good Governance, Accountability & Transparency: I will ensure that the LGC Funds is well managed, not misappropriated, or embezzled so as to maintain zero tolerance to corruption in public office, be accountable, transparent to all citizens of Idemili North LGA so as to record viable economic development of our rural communities.
- Promotion of Peace, Safety & Security: If appointed as Transition Chairman of Idemili North LGA, I will best peace-building initiatives to unite and promote peaceful co-existence amongst our people.
- Local & Global Partnership with Critical Stakeholders: I will work with all critical Stakeholders; APGA Party & Political Leaders, Councilors, Civil & Public Servants, Community Leaders, Traditional Institutions; Royal Fathers, Senior Citizens (Elderly), Youths, Women, Children, Religious Leaders, all Security agencies, Vigilance groups, Associations and different interest groups; non-indigenes and Professional bodies to promote
peace and security as well as set good pace in traffic management services in Idemili North LGA. - Accessibility & Open Door Administration: I will be accessible to all citizens of Idemili North LGA. Open door administration will be my number one policy so as to promote inclusive governance, show quality leadership, good human relations, capacity, dynamism, respect the rights of others; listen to all citizens’ ideas, learn and work with all citizens of Idemili North LGA.
- Promote Massive Grassroots Political Participation: I will work to promote modern democracy in Idemili North LGA. Also, promote massive grassroots political participation by activating increased membership drive for our APGA party in the 10 communities that make up the LGA as my ultimate goal will be to win every election in my Local Government.
- Essential & Community Services: I will work with relevant agencies to ensure adequate supply of clean water, regular electricity supply, good transportation services, hospitals, roads and telecommunication network systems in Idemili North LGA.
- Improved Agriculture & food security: I will work to ensure improved Agriculture and food security in Idemili North LGA of Anambra State. We will increase investments in Agriculture by developing schemes, Agric, or agro-business initiatives through the provision of the necessary facilities, loans and technical support to our farmers, cooperative societies to improve our local agricultural economy for food security in Idemili North LGA
- Industrial Revolution, Talent & Local Technology Development: I will work to promote productivity and growth of our local technologies; promote talent development amongst our Youths and women in all sectors of the economy through support and partnership with relevant bodies, agencies, Stakeholders; individuals or groups to drive grassroots industrial revolution.
- Innovation, Discipline & Productivity Amongst Staff of The LGA: I will work to promote Innovation, productivity and discipline amongst staff of Idemili North LGA for good legacy and as pace setter to other LGAs in the state
- Promote indigenous languages, technology & rich Cultural heritage: I will work to promote our good cultural heritage and govern with the fear of God. Also support good Housing schemes, services to Staff and all citizens of Idemili North LGA. And ensure that we promote our indigenous languages and technology in our local Communities in IDEMILI NORTH LGA.
